WEICON WP Epoxy Resin Plastic Steel | Coating of stressed surfaces PROPERTIES: The epoxy resin adhesive is pasty, high-strength, ceramic-filled, tough-elastic, impact resistant, offers extreme wear protection and is suitable for the protection of surfaces subject to heavy wear. The coating with WEICON Plastic Metal WP offers high wear and abrasion resistance and is highly resistant to chemicals. The epoxy resin system prevents metal loss and replaces previously used wear-resistant alloys, ceramic tiles or rubber linings as well as welded metal coatings. APPLICATION : The epoxy resin adhesive can be used either to re-form worn metal surfaces or as a wear-resistant coating. A particularly high level of protection is achieved when the wear is caused by laterally impacting particles. STORAGE : Store WEICON Plastic Metal in a dry place at room temperature. Unopened containers can be stored at temperatures between +18 and +28°C for at least 24 months after delivery date. Opened containers must be used within 6 months. SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological & ecological data and regulations of the EC Safety Data Sheets must be observed. TECHNICAL DATA: Base: Epoxy resin, ceramic filled. Texture: pasty. Colour: grey. Mechanical resistance: after 16 hours. Final hardness: after 96 hours Temperature resistance: -35 to +120°C
