WEICON Rust Converter Liquid Agent - Stops Corrosion in Interior & Exterior Areas. PROPERTIES: Due to the special active ingredient formula, Rust Converter penetrates rust and converts iron oxides into a stable black layer in a chemical process. APPLICATION: Rust converter can be used on rusty areas such as machinery, stainless steel, tool shed, garden shed, garden tools, sheet steel and motor vehicles. It also provides a protective and preventive layer. PROCESSING: The substrate must be dry, clean and free of dust, oil and grease. Clean the surface with WEICON Spray Cleaner S. Shake the container well before use and apply the rust converter evenly and thinly with a brush or roller. After 15 min. the rust on the workpiece will turn black. If this is not the case, apply another coat after 30 minutes. Allow the area to air completely for 3 to 24 hours before painting. STORAGE: Keep tightly closed in the original packaging and protect from direct sunlight and frost. The storage temperature should be between 5°C and +15°C. Store in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological & ecological data & regulations of the EC Safety Data Sheets must be observed.
