RACO Speed Light Weight Body Filler with Space Age Microsphere Polyester Putty with Hardner Paste is an advanced two-component polyester body filler from RACO. Features
PREPARATION:Sand or grind surfaces to be repaired down to bare metal. Surface must be clean dry free from all dirt, oil, grease, wax and paint. If misture to be applied is over 1 "thick, drill holes throughout damaged area forcing material through openings for a greater bond. MIXING: Place desired amount of filler on clean, non-absorbent mixng surface. To 1 contents add in contents of hardner tube or for an amount the size of a golf ball use 1 teasspoon of hardener. Follow the same propotion when using large amount. At room temperature (70-80F) approximate setting time 3-4 minutes.
APPLICATION : Using plastic spreader, apply thin layers building up damaged area higher than metal surface to allow for sanding
FINISH : When material has hardened, approximately 15-20 minutes, sand, then featheredge repaired area to desired contour, prime refer to paint manufacture's instruction for final finish.
